Dr.Sailendra Narain |
Several companies and financial institutions have benefited, and continue to benefit, from the financial acumen and strategic drive of Dr.Sailendra Narain. His forte includes international consultancy in institutional upgradation & restructuring and also capacity building through various training programmes.
In his four decades of experience in banking and finance, mainly in development and financing of Small and Medium enterprises (SMEs), Micro-enterprises and Rural non-farm sector, he has served in various capacities including as the Chairman and Managing Director- SIDBI and as the Joint Secretary (Finance) to Government of Haryana.
Presently, serving as non-executive Chairman/Director of the Board of Directors of one of the largest private sector commercial banks in India and as a Professional Director on the Boards of several companies and institutions, Dr. Narain is also a Member of the Board of Governors of Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDII).
Member of India’s Tenth Five Year Plan Working Group on SSI set up by the Planning Commission, Govt. of India, he is the Founder Trustee of the India Brand Equity Fund set up by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India. He is also Ex-officio Founder Chairman of the Credit Guarantee Fund for Small Industries.
The Special Honour Award was conferred on Dr. Narain in 1997 by the World Association for Small and Medium Enterprises (WASME) at Miami, USA in recognition of significant contributions made towards promotion of SMEs. He is also a recipient of the Asian Banking Award.
Dr. Narain is the World Bank Programme Advisor for evaluation and capacity building of Nigerian Bank of Commerce and Industry, Nigeria and UNIDO Advisor in Ethiopia for designing special schemes for promotion and financing of SMEs and micro enterprises. He is also regularly invited as member of the Expert Groups set up by UNCTAD-Geneva and OECD-Paris on Innovative Finance for SMEs and good governance. |

E.S.Jayaraman |
An Engineering Graduate, Jayaraman had workd with ISRO and a reputed petrochemical company prior to his stint with IDBI. A banker with around two decades of experience in the financial sector, he also served as the Chief General Manager in charge of Re-structuring of viable companies in IDBI.
Jayaraman has served as Managing Director of CARE, a premier credit rating agency and has been a Director on the Boards of several industrial companies, Technical Consultancy Organisations and state level financial institutions.
Jayaraman has presented several strategic business papers in Indonesia, Thailand and Philippines and successfully facilitated the know-how transfer deal for a Mexican Rating Agency. His forte lies in Project Finance, Turnaround Strategies, Corporate Credit Ratings & Corporate Governance |

Prof. V.R.Iyer |
|
Prof. Iyer is known among the academic fraternity, management students and industry associations for his visionary and pioneering role. He established the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship Education (which is today a full-fledged management institute) of Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics. Actively associated with MFM and Ph.D programs of Narsee Monjee Institue of Management Studies and Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, he also established the Jankidevi Bajaj Institute of Management Studies at SNDT University.
Prof. Iyer has served as the Chairperson of the Ad hoc Board in Management Studies, Member of the Academic Council and Member of the Senate of SNDT University. He is also a Member of Board of Studies of Mumbai University and a Member of Academic Council of the Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University. Currently involved in the revamping and revision of the MBA program of the University, he is a guide for several Ph.D students.
Prof. Iyer spearheaded several initiatives in his capacity as the President of the Institute of Cost & Works Accountants of India. The President of Mumbai Chapter of Institute of Internal Auditors, Florida, USA, he also serves on the Executive Committees of the South Asian Federation of Accountants and the Confederation of Asian and Pacific Accountants. Prof. Iyer is also a member of the management committees of Indian Merchants Chamber, Bombay Productivity Council and Indian Accounting Association. Prof. Iyer serves on the Local Advisory Board of the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank Ltd. The Public Representative Director on the Board of the Inter-connected Stock Exchange Ltd., he is also the Chairman of the Audit Committee of ISCL.

M.V.Subaraman |
|
A post graduate and law graduate, Subaraman is a consultant and advisor to industrial companies. He has three decades of banking experience with IDBI. He retired voluntarily from IDBI when he was General Manager. He had served as a nominee director of IDBI on the Boards of several companies.
Vetting of business plans, Project appraisal, strategic business management, financial restructuring, assisting business units in mergers and acquisitions, scaling up of operations are his forte. He has considerable knowledge and experience in company matters and has first hand experience in Greenfield project implementation. Subaraman is independent Director on the Boards of reputed industrial companies

A.Ramakrishna |
|
Ramakrishna is a Finance Professional with over 37 years of experience in senior management positions. Currently a non whole-time Director of a leading textile mill in Coimbatore, India, he is also a member of the Audit committee of the Board.
Ramakrishna has held several positions in his chequered career with MNCs and Indian companies. He headed the Budgetary and Secretarial functions of an Indian subsidiary of an UK pharma company. He was in charge of corporate Accounts and also the Controller – Food Division of a listed Indian subsidiary of a Swedish match company.
Ramakrishna has hands-on experience in mergers, setting up of subsidiaries, strategic planning and developing performance metrics for organizations.
A science graduate with majors in Physics & Mathematics, Ramakrishna is a Fellow Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He serves on the committee of the South India Mills Association. Actively involved with the Rotary Club, he was the President of the Rotary of South, Coimbatore.
